The generator allows you to bring around a source of electrical power available on demand. The abundant supply needs to consider generators according to their capacity and intended use.
The production of electricity from a generator must be autonomous and requires only a fuel supply away from any source of energy. Electricity is always produced by a dynamo generator which produces a continuous current or alternator which produces alternating current.
To produce the current, that generator shall receive a rotary movement of its drive shaft. This movement is produced by a gasoline engine, LPG or diesel equipped with a mechanical control modulating its rotating speed in function of the load. The coupling between the motor and the generator is directly on the motor axis as opposed to the alternator of a vehicle motor which is driven by a belt. The role of the electric diagram of the generator component is to modulate the power of the thermal engine based on the demand for electrical current.
The use of the generator
The adaptation of the generator according to the intended use as a power supply is sought for recreation and camper generator, backup power for the generator to house, a fixed or mobile power for a site insulated with the site generator mobile or movable, a welder arc capable of intervening anywhere with the autonomous welding group.
The energy of the generator
Depending on the use made of it, the choice exists between the gasoline generator, the diesel generator, the gas generator and recently the solar generator. The energy will be crucial to determine the power of generator group delivered by the generator regulator or the new systems as the inverter generator and AVR generator; and the quality of conventional phase current or the three-phase generator. The design of the generator according to its power is also accompanied by a notion of mobility and discretion that will allow the choice between a soundproof generator, portable generator or a mobile generator.
Power and control of generators
The capacity to use a generator is determined by the power (single phase generator or three phase generator) and its regulation can be achieved mechanically by the generator controller or electronic devices on the AVR generator or inverter generator.
