The projection screen is a device whose choice should not be overlooked. In fact, it plays a vital role in the final rendering of your projections (image quality, colors...).

If you use your projector on a regular basis and want to dispose of quickly and easily, it is advisable to opt for wall projection screen that you can attach to a wall or ceiling.
Conversely, choose a model with tripod if your use is occasional. So you can remove it and put it back in your living room to your liking.
On the screen unwinding, it can be electric or manual, depending on your budget. The first offering obviously more comfort because it holds you down to the canvas via a remote control. Obviously, they are often more expensive than the manual models.
The size of the projection screen
The suitable screen size will depend on the area of the room where you want to install your material and the distance that separates you and your screen. Here are some examples to give you an idea:
* If the distance between you and your screen is less than 2.5 m, opt for a basic screen size of 1.8 m.
* If the distance between you and your screen is between 3 and 5 m, choose a screen size base ranging from 2 to 2.40 m.
* If the distance between you and your screen is more than 5m, opt for a basic screen size of 3m.
Types of formats
Square, 4:3, 16:9 are three types of existing formats for projection screens. 16:9 and 4:3 are the most popular on the market and the most suitable for watching movies. The square format meanwhile is mostly used in the professional field for projecting PowerPoint for example.
