Detergents

Detergent manufacturers are still finding new advertising arguments to try to convince consumers. The choice of a lye is yet down to two criteria, powder or liquid, with or without allergenic fragrances.
If the goal is to wash, use a powder without any hesitation. Their superiority is clear in terms of efficiency, they remove stains better than liquid detergents. In laboratory tests, tissues impregnated with mixture of mud and grass, a particularly difficult dirt, blood, blueberry, tomato, mustard, coffee or tea are cleaner out of the washing machine after washed with a powder.
If the objective is to maintain the brightness of white clothes and avoid graying, this is still for powder washing that we must turn. Nothing more natural, they contain bleaching agents absent of liquids compositions.
What saves liquids
If the primary objective is to match the colors, deep black or bright red, no hesitation, this time must turn to a liquid detergent. This preservation of color is also due to the absence of bleaching agents in the powders. It is them who are responsible for fading a little more pronounced colors.
In case of stains on colored clothes, pre-cleaning with soap is obviously recommended when liquid detergent is used.
Beware of allergenic ingredients
Since October 8 2005, manufacturers must indicate the presence of allergens in the ingredient list as soon as they enter into the composition of more than 100 mg/kg. This labeling requirement is a serious step forward for consumer information, but not an absolute guarantee for sensitized persons. The threshold is a technical threshold and is not in any case a limit below which it can not be effect of allergy type. The threshold for triggering an allergic reaction will be different from an allergic to another and a patient to another". This is why the analysis stalk the allergenic fragrances regardless of their concentration. In each test, the conclusion is the same: the most liquid detergents are full of allergens. This is all the more regrettable that these perfumes are useless, they do not improve washing efficiency.
How to avoid allergens?
Our first advice is obviously to check the label in store and buy a detergent which mentions no fragrance. If there are, they are present at doses less than 100 mg/kg. It is enough when you are not allergic.
The second advice is to prefer detergents in powder to liquid detergents, they contain fewer allergens.
