Constantly changing, the ADSL (Asymmetric digital subscriber line) market allows you to communicate over the Internet. Easy, fast and fun, ADSL offers multiple options including telephone and television. But the offer is so rich that it is hard to find.

3 main ADSL offers

Although the ADSL market is constantly changing, there are three main types of ADSL offers:

=> Internet only (less commercialized).

=> Internet + phone via ADSL:

- In addition to Internet access, you can call (unlimited).
- In some cases (unbundled), you can unsubscribe from traditional phone and save money monthly.

=> Internet + Phone + IPTV:

- Your TV is connected to the internet box.
- You can watch on your TV numerous free or pay channels.
- You can access video on demand.

It is also possible to opt for ADSL + IPTV offer, so without the phone via ADSL. However, this type of offer is rare.

ADSL and IPTV are not available everywhere

ADSL and IPTV will not be accessible to everyone. Your speed should be high enough to enjoy. The rate depends on several criteria:

=> Your location: more your home is close to the telephone exchange, the higher your rate will be.

=> Your subscription: you can opt for different ADSL services (20 Mega and more) or an offer in optical fiber (up to 100 or 200 Mega).

To take advantage of IPTV, it is considered a minimum rate of 4 Mega is required. To know what "you right" is very simple, make ADSL test: it's free and immediate. If you can not get ADSL, you can opt for another solution: satellite internet.

Television via ADSL : an undeniable success

ADSL TV achieves a success increasingly important. All this is due to the many options it offers:

=> A bouquet of 100 to 200 free channels (the number varies depending on the Internet service provider) and a wide range of pay TV.

=> For everyone: comedy, action, documentary, etc.

=> Possible subscription to channels of cable as well as satellite, without the need to install a satellite dish!

=> An easier and more enjoyable use of the interface: channels mosaic, favorites management, program guide, parental controls and a multilingual management on many channels.

=> The ability to record programs, but also to see many programs at any time through the "Replay".

Complete Internet box

Internet service providers (ISPs) offer internet box more complete:

=> An integrated hard drive: You can directly store all your multimedia files on your box.

=> A router function: the box is placed in the heart of your home network and allows you to connect all your media devices such as computer, TV, tablet, smartphone...

=> Extensive connectivity: to access to broadband internet you have the choice between several modes of connection: WiFi, powerline and Ethernet (cable connection).
