Intel Launches Haswell Processors With 15% Increase In Performance

As published in its official website, Intel points out that the fourth generation of processors "combines exceptional little use of battery with frightening performance" and facilitates use of "machine two in one", the so-called hybrids that combine features of laptop and tablet in the same apparatus.
In terms of battery savings, some products can be connected with up to nine hours of active use battery and up to 13 days standby time with only one charge. To achieve such autonomy, the company reduced the power consumption of the CPU for up to 6 watts and optimized its system to save as much as possible.
As said Kirk Skaugen, vice president of Intel's PC division, "Intel Core fourth generation processors offer the most significant gain of battery life in the history of Intel, twice better graphics and several significant improvements in CPU performance, creating great experiences for consumers".
Yet according to Intel, Haswell processors "offer the best performance of the market", with improved speed of approximately twice compared to its predecessor. The system initialization is eight times faster and the user can edit and share HD videos 20 times faster than similar PCs.

Devices are ow coming to market

Last but not least, there is the Intel Iris, graphics system available in some new family processors, which offers 3D graphics performance twice as good as the current top of the line. According to the company, this technology will "bring the new computers to life with built-in visual experience without extra plate".
Starting this month of June appear in the international market the first laptops, ultrabooks and hybrid processors. The trend is costing about $ 100 more expensive than the models with previous processor. Mobile devices, in turn, should only arrive towards the end of the year.
