What is Allergy ?

An allergy is an abnormal reaction of the body against a foreign substance called an allergen. For most subjects, this substance does not cause trouble but in an allergic person can be responsible for various more or less serious phenomenons.

Awareness, essential first step

For developing an allergy, it is essential that the first contact between the allergen and the subject's body took place. This is called sensitization. Then, at each new encounter of the allergen and the body occurs as a consequence an allergic manifestation.

The mechanism of allergy

Normal function of the immune system
In humans, the immune system plays the role of "gatekeeper" and defends the body against external attacks. It is able to recognize antigens or markers of foreign substances to the body that lie on the surface of particles or micro-organisms. In response to the attack, the immune system produces antibodies and white blood cells capable of coming into contact with these antigens and destroy micro-organisms that carry them.
The role of immune system in allergies
In allergy, the immune system responds abnormally and exaggerated to a harmless foreign substance to the body.
In the case of allergy, the antigen is called allergen. This antigen is usually well tolerated by most of the population. However, people with allergies, the immune system will produce antibodies and white blood cells against this antigen that mistakenly considers dangerous.
A substance completely harmless for some, can cause an allergic reaction in a person said sensitized.
Allergy is a reaction inadequate, excessive and pathologic of immune system.

Allergy, a pathology increasingly frequent

Allergy is a pathology becoming more and more common. Nearly 20 % of the European population is allergic to at least one substance.
Allergy, a family origin
The risk of becoming allergic is based on family history, and we consider :
> a risk of 12.5 to 15 % if neither parent is allergic
> a risk of 25 to 40 % if one parent is allergic
> a risk of 50 to 65 % if the 2 parents are allergic
> a risk of 75 % if the 2 parents + a member of the immediate family is allergic
Allergy increasingly common in industrialized countries
Allergy is a phenomenon that affects mainly the industrialized countries.
Several explanations are suggested:
> greater diversification of food consumption with more exotic products, prepared foods with preservatives and food additives potentially allergenic.
> Air pollution also participates in sensitization to allergens (allergenic airborne particles).

Things You Should Never Do With Your Smartphone

The worst things not to do with your smartphone: if some will seem obvious, others are so less, and yet you do them every day. It explains why in this user's survival guide of Android smartphone and especially how to avoid the worst.

Buy a smartphone with grant

Well, it does not concern the use itself of an Android smartphone, but it is an important detail.

Whatever the calculations, buy a smartphone costs in the vast majority of cases cheaper than opting for a grant operator, that is to say, buy a smartphone with package.

Charge your smartphone via USB

Load a smartphone via USB to a computer, it is much less efficient than using a standard charger. By the way, make sure your charger is of good quality, also your cable. In case of battery charging problem, they are the first suspects.

Empty battery, continuous charging and overheating

There are safety devices, a battery will not suddenly die if your gauge changes to 2% while using your smartphone, but a good survival reflex to improve durability and battery life of your smartphone, is to follow these some advices. Avoid letting down your battery level too low regularly, you will see anyway that the behavior of your device is sometimes strange and unstable when this is the case. Also, do not leave your smartphone plugged in when its battery is full.

If you pull too much on your battery and that it is not of first youth or just a little lower quality, then it may swell, in which case it must be changed immediately, it is up to the explosion in extreme cases.

Do not use lock screen

At a time when almost all our life is contained in our smartphones, this is a mistake that can be very expensive. A simple lock screen is not so much supposed to hold remote audience, it allows you to save time especially on a possible thief: this will not have the time or the ability to call premium rate numbers: the theft report and the smartphone blocking by police takes some time. He will actually do a factory reset to use your smartphone, protecting some of your personal data, including your Facebook, Twitter and other email ids. Pictures by cons will always be accessible in most cases.

Store all your data online

Similarly, safeguard online data on servers of Dropbox type, Google Drive or another can also run your loss. These platforms are often hacked, and your personal data may be disclosed to perfect strangers eyes in a jiffy. So remember to secure them with an application such as BoxCryptor.

Do not back up your data

The files, photos and other data do not disappear like that, but there are many instances where the user must perform a factory reset, and he loses all application data, files and identifiers. Save, before any risky operation, flash root or mod but regularly, by copying the backups to another medium, such as a PC.

Do not put your smartphone update

Safety improvements, autonomy, overheating and data connection, the builder and operator updates are essential to ensure a decent life to your Android smartphone. So put your smartphone updated regularly, but also the applications!

Do not delete such photos

Far be it from me to suggest that you lead a depraved life, but needless to exhibit the pictures of the final night at work, for example. Applications like WhatsApp, Messenger and other Instagram are on the list of culprits: the pictures are automatically displayed in the gallery.

Download questionable applications

It is often advised to rooter, install applications from unknown sources and other useful modifications, however, we must remain cautious. Some applications will simply activate without your knowledge the data connection, it can also make premium rate calls discretely, or collect your data. Certainly, the antivirus can be useful (no controversy here), but common sense is still the best protection. Beware of cheating applications.

Use your smartphone in a humid environment

This basic rule is more important than it seems: a manufacturer can refuse warranty support if his sensors detected a moisture exposure outside "normal use". Do not believe that smartphones certified IP57, 58 or 68 are safe: they are designed to survive submersion up to 1 meter of water mostly for 30 minutes, and are protected against dust. Prolonged exposure to moisture is different, and can be a problem, especially at the screen.

Protect the screen of your smartphone!

If you are refractory to the hulls and other cases, at least protect the screen of your device. In addition to expected coatings prevent scratches, there are also real glasses that come shield the screen of your smartphone. If you drop it, regardless of its strength, a fall on an angle will be in most cases fatal.

Leave your history to everyone

You now use your smartphone for everything and anything: do not let these personal details in full view of everyone. We refer of course to your browsing history, but not that! Your call history, your Google Now search and more are regularly to remove if you value your privacy.
