Apple continues to lead the smartphone market, according to ComScore


IPhone maker opens 1.4% of advantage compared to second place in the smartphone market in the United States.

The difference between the first place and the other smartphones brands has increased even more in the U.S. market. The pointed data comes from the analysis firm ComScore, which conducted a survey between January and April this year.

The pointed data indicates that Apple has increased 1.4 percentage points over the front of the second place Samsung. In the survey, Apple now appears with 39.2% of the market, Samsung has reached 22%, third is HTC, with only 8.9% and Motorola appears in fourth place with 8.3%, even in the fifth position, LG won 6.7% of the smartphone market in the country, during the research period, 138.5 million people were interviewed in the United States.

Also according to ComScore, the Apple positive result against Samsung, makes the apple company only distances itself further against sales. However, Google's Android operating system, which is used by most manufacturers of smartphones, is the most popular in the U.S. market, reaching 52 percentage points for participation, but with a slight drop of 0.3%.
