The blender is the ally of food processor. Practical and effective, it can cut, chop, mix all ingredients kinds but also to make compotes, purees or to make delicious drinks such as smoothies or cocktails. Blender features

The blender is comprised of two distinct elements but that work together. The first element is a large bowl (plastic, glass, stainless steel) with one or more blades, vase-shaped with a spout and provided with a leak-proof cover which fits to the top container. The second element is the block engine for supporting the whole apparatus on which is the command button. The blender will not turn on if it is not secured to the base or if the lid is not closed.

The bowl is often graduated to allow to realize any recipe without error in the measurements. It can also be equipped with a dispensing valve, which gives the opportunity to serve the preparation directly and cleanly in a glass without having to move the device. Inside the bowl, there is or non-detachable blade. To do this, simply unscrew the bottom of bowl where the blade is, and that makes the washing less laborious than for models with secured block engine to the bowl. Vario filter system is an interesting option. It can be used without having to open the lid and filter the pulp through the various positions of spout.

The unit base, containing the block engine can be provided with a non-slip suction cup, which is very convenient for a good stability of machine during operation. The blender takes up more space in height and width and fits easily in the kitchen among the other appliances. The handle can also be well oriented to the left and right, in front or back.

Blender power

The blender power is a criterion to be taken into account for all the functions that the device is capable. This varies between 350 and 1100 watts and the bowl capacity, 1 to 2 liters. It will take a minimum of at least 500 watts to be able to crush ice. A pulse function is always possible for preparations requiring a higher speed than normal to get the desired consistency and mix the preparation as required by the recipe chosen by varying the speed during the preparation. Conversely, the blender can be provided with a function 'Slow' ideal to incorporate the ingredients which are not to be mixed at the end of preparation.
