Heating: which option?

Boosted by the soaring costs of energy and environmental awareness, manufacturers offer more heating models and increasingly efficient. Therefore, your choice is richer, but also more complicated.

Central heating for the whole house

Literally, central heating refers only to the combustion heating. We use this term for heating the whole house.

Things being clear, you only have to choose from:

=> The combustion heating: wood, oil or gas? Renowned for its reliability and its efficiency, its installation is heavy. The choice of wood as fuel is more environmentally friendly.

=> Electric heating: little binding, it must simply be connected to the mains.

=> The renewable energy heating (ENR): the main types of ENR are heat pumps and solar.

For the latter, it must be supplemented by an additional heater.

=> Joint dual-energy: Bi-energy heating (conventional energy + renewable energy). Different combinations exist: wood + gas heating, heat pump + solar, insert + conventional heating, etc...

The central heating can also be provided by systems often ignored:

=> The boiler stove provides the advantages combined with a wood stove and a boiler by connecting your water heating circuit.

=> The fireplace can be fitted with a heat spreader or heat recovery and also serve central heating throughout your home.
