Eczema

Eczema is a very common skin disease that causes severe itching. It is therefore important to know how to manage this dermatitis and what precautions to adopt everyday.

Eczema is a skin disease (non infectious) which concerns a large part of population. In fact, 80 % of consultations made in dermatology relate this disease.

Children are often affected although everyone can develop this disease, especially after an allergy.

Symptoms of eczema

Eczema presents series of quite characteristic and easily observable symptoms in the skin, but vary according to the surge progress:

=> drought;

=> fragility;

=> redness;

=> presence of vesicles;

=> plates (scales);

=> crusts.

These crusts fall generally themselves after 2 or 3 weeks, but leave scars.

The causes of eczema

Three main causes of eczema are distinguished:

=> allergies;

=> stress;

=> heredity.
